Race Insurance

This year we are offering race insurance through RunSignup. It can be added during registration at checkout. We understand sometimes things happen that are out of your control such as injuries, unforeseen work or family commitments, etc. We highly recommend considering adding the race insurance option if you are worried about there being any chance you might have to withdraw. We do offer a 50% credit deferment if you withdraw more than 30 days out. See more below.

Withdrawal & Deferment Credit

If you need to withdraw and it is more than 30 days from race day, you can defer and receive 50% credit towards Yamacraw the following year. Anything withing 30 days or less, you will receive 0 credit. Remember, we also offer bib transfers so you have options as we are trying to be as accommodating as possible.

You will need to register the following year when registration opens. Your entry is not guaranteed. Credits will be good for one year from date of issuance and can only be used once. If you withdraw from an event for which credits were used, you will not be reissued those credits.

No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstance. No selling of entries is permitted without going through the bib transfer process in RunSignup. No refunds or credits will be provided for dropping down in race distance. Hardship Deferment

We do offer 100% deferment in the case of military deployment, pregnancy, or a death in the family. Please contact us at runyamacraw@gmail.com if you need to inquire about a hardship deferment and we can discuss your options.
